Steps in a design and build contract
Before signing any dotted lines, our team steps you through a complete list of house specifications and that means total transparency.
An initial proposal will be sent from our quantity surveyor, outlining our costs and your scope of work to then provide you with a full comprehensive overall cost breakdown for your project. This proposal will contain a cover letter, trade summary and Excel spreadsheet with each stage of the project outlined. When choosing to build with us we will in good faith refund your initial cost with our quantity surveyor.
In terms of your budget and house specifications, nothing is left out. And nothing is built, altered or added before you sign off on it.
We’ll be there to discuss and advise on the feasibility of various building choices and provide help turning your ideas into designs to meet your budget. In our experience, the best safety net is the advice and experience of fellow travellers and we’ll always be there on your building journey with you.
If I want to change my mind?
Want to make some alterations to your building plan? Not an issue.
If you don’t want to be locked in, you’re not, and that’s the beauty of our design and build contracts: we allow for variables.
